Born and bred in New Jersey, he earned his Master of Information from SC&I in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall. Murphy holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from American University and has studied at King’s College London and New York University.
Garrison Wilson COM’19 has given back to SC&I in many ways this spring. First he participated in the interactive career conversations with current Communication majors at the third annual COMMchella Music Festival, and most recently served as a guest lecturer for a Media, Marketing and Communication course taught by SC&I Assistant Professor of Practice, Communication Mark Beal, the same course Wilson took as an undergraduate in 2019.
The sixth annual SC&I Scholarly Incubator, “Innovation in Digital Research,” was held virtually on March 6, 2024, to provide an opportunity for faculty members and doctoral students to address, investigate, and discuss areas ranging from digital ethnography to computational methods, and incorporating critical takes on recent developments in social science and society.
