To Explore the Famed British Archives and Collections, SC&I MI Students Traveled to Wroxton, England
Archivists, scholars, and librarians working with a variety of British archives and collections provided the MI students with a variety of lectures and guided tours to enable them to think critically about cultural differences and similarities by learning about how British archivists and librarians develop, preserve, and provide access to physical and virtual collections.
With this year’s conference theme, “Breaking Barriers, Simple Kindness,” NJLA invites attendees to reflect on the powerful role libraries play in promoting equity, compassion, and access for all. The theme resonates strongly with SC&I’s commitment to inclusive education, community engagement, and preparing library professionals who serve diverse populations.
