Digital Media Specialization
The Digital Media specialization within the Master of Communication and Media program is designed for journalists and communication professionals looking to expand their skills and stay ahead in 21st-century media. Students will explore grassroots reporting, advocacy and gain hands-on experience in digital video capture, editing, production, and social media management. This fully online program also offers the flexibility to take elective courses—either online or in person—from other specializations.

A special topics course gives you the chance to explore unique or emerging subjects while shaping your studies to match your interests. With an interdisciplinary approach, these courses offer interactive, hands-on learning experiences that can boost your research skills and career preparation.
