Biography

Richard Dool's research and publishing are centered on three main areas: organizational renewal, leadership communication, and team building. He has published eight books related to these areas. He also consults in these areas, both internally at Rutgers and with external clients.

He has been recognized for his teaching and service. He has been awarded the annual Outstanding Teaching Award four times as well as a Distinguished Service Award. His book, "Leaderocity: Leading at the Speed of Now," was selected by Skillsoft for their curated professional content collection on business and management.

Dool is an active presenter and workshop facilitator. He has led workshops on team building, leadership communication, strategic planning, and strengths development, as examples. He has led 20+ workshops since 2023. He has published three new books since 2022, including "Leadership Journeys and Lessons Learned."
