As a freshman, Sledge-Pearson planned to major in Chemistry. When she discovered SC&I and the IT and Informatics major, she knew she needed to make a switch.
Through this class trip to Verizon, IT and Informatics students gained insight into the collaborative nature of large-scale network operations and the human decision-making behind automated systems.
