Support for Rutgers-wide computing is provided by the University Helpdesk Website.
The university also gives access to computer labs around the various campuses for student use.
Several computer labs are in SC&I buildings. The labs have desktop computers, sophisticated software, and printers. Hours are posted at the door to each lab and announced via the SC&I_ANNOUNCE listserv. -

FALL 2026 TERM, CREDIT CLASSES
Classes begin Tuesday, September 1
No classes on Labor Day, Monday, September 7
Tuesday, September 8, will run on a Monday schedule
During the week of Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26):
- Wednesday, November 25, will run on a Friday schedule
- No classes Thursday, November 26–Sunday, November 29
End of semester for undergraduate classes:
- Last day of classes: Thursday, December 10
- Reading days: Friday, December 11, and Monday, December 14
- Final exams: Tuesday, December 15–Tuesday, December 22
End of semester for graduate classes:
- There are no reading days and no scheduled finals period for graduate classes.
- Graduate classes continue on their regular schedule to the last day of classes: Thursday, December 17
WINTER 2027 TERM, CREDIT CLASSES
Wednesday, December 23, 2026–Friday, January 15, 2027
SPRING 2027 TERM, CREDIT CLASSES
Classes begin Tuesday, January 19 (day after Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
No classes during Spring Break, Saturday, March 13–Sunday, March 21
End of semester for undergraduate classes:
- Last day of classes: Monday, May 3
- Reading days: Tuesday, May 4, and Wednesday, May 5
- Final exams: Thursday, May 6–Wednesday, May 12
End of semester for graduate classes:
- Last day of classes: Monday, May 10
SC&I Convocation: Thursday, May 13
University Commencement: Sunday, May 16
SUMMER 2027 TERM, CREDIT CLASSES
First session classes begin on Tuesday, June 1
Last session classes end on Wednesday, August 18
