Scholarships for IT & Informatics Majors

There are two scholarships available specifically for full-time IT & Informatics majors:

• SC&I Scholarship for IT & Informatics Majors
• SC&I Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship for IT & Informatics Majors

Eligibility (for both scholarships)

• Be a rising junior or senior
• Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement
• Demonstrate financial need
• Submit an unofficial transcript and essay

How selection works

As an ITI student, you only need to submit one scholarship application. The faculty scholarship committee will review your materials and consider you for the most suitable ITI award offered by the department.

Scholastic Honors in SC&I

To receive the Scholastic Honors designation for graduation, you must achieve both:

• 3.65 GPA or above in the IT & Informatics major, and
• 3.25 GPA overall in undergraduate studies.

These honors are not dependent upon participation in any official Honors program.
