Student Involvement

During your time in the School of Communication and Information, you’ll be presented with ample opportunities to expand your understanding of our world and the communities within it.

Students conduct problem-oriented research that focuses on a variety of prominent contemporary topics.

More than a dozen student organizations actively sponsor academic, service, social, and career-related events throughout the year, enriching the academic and personal experiences of the entire student body.

Students can locate job listings related to communication, information, informatics, journalism, media, or libraries via our SC&I jobs board or Rutgers Handshake.

Students can engage in short or long-term study abroad courses while gaining international experience. The Journalism and Media Studies Program offers multiple study abroad experiences each year.
