Biography
Ken Hunter has over 25 years of experience in public relations and marketing communication. He is president and chief strategist of PowerStation Communications, where he works with clients to drive their public relations, marketing, advertising, and brand strategy. Throughout his career, Hunter has provided consumer, tech, healthcare, real estate, and government clients with vision, strategy, and inspiration for strategic communication; brand creation and refinement; campaign conception and execution; as well as crisis communication.
Hunter is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America. He has won over two dozen awards for his work in corporate positioning and branding, product/service launches, crisis communication preparation and management, marketing communication, digital communication, media relations, and spokesperson and team training. He has worked with Starbucks, Tempur-Pedic, Dow Chemical, Atlantic Health System, MAQUET, IEEE, Cuisinart, Space Imaging, Wireless Advocates, and Philips Image-Guided Therapy/Spectranetics. He has also worked in-house at the NAFA Fleet Management Association, the Rutgers University Foundation, as well as the Rutgers Alumni Relations office.
Hunter has been a professor since 2011, teaching at Rutgers University, Seton Hall University, New York University, William Paterson University, and Raritan Valley Community College.
