Biography

Veronica Armour's research examines the social nature of pathways when negotiating transitions. Her work focuses on school-to-work transitions and the communities and networks that provide support and structure to college pathways. These interests are grounded in her observations of the different ways undergraduate students in an innovation program use information as part of their college experience and professional development. Her dissertation incorporates arts-informed practices and document analysis to examine the multiple parts and components of school-to-work transitions in its real-life context.

Armour is the associate director for experiential learning and community engagement in the Division of Undergraduate Education in the Office of the Provost and the director of the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship Academy (IDEA) at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She has received funding from the New Jersey Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program for the IDEA Design Research Summer Internship program. In 2025, she authored a paper accepted to CHI on the internship framework.
