Biography

Brenda Sheridan has an extensive background in higher education administration that spans both private and public institutions. She is responsible for marketing of academic programs, communication and public relations strategy including social media, and the promotion of faculty research to sustain the school's reputation. Sheridan is also part of the website team, supervising multiple staff members and interns each semester.

Before arriving at Rutgers, she served as the director of communication and executive director of the Drexel University Computing Academy within the College of Computing and Informatics. Sheridan also teaches in SC&I's Continuing and Professional Studies program in the Communication Certificate.

Sheridan's dissertation "Key Components of Successful Higher Education Online Fundraising Programs" was published in 2004 from the University of Pittsburgh.
