Biography

Alexandra Pucciarellii's research focuses on ethical practices in archival collections and explores the concept of "wounded landscapes." She employs autoethnography and discourse analysis to examine spectatorship within information spaces. She serves as the Museums and Memory group co-chair within the Memory Studies Association. She is also the recipient of the second annual Fine Fellowship for the study of 10/27 for her dissertation research.

Her dissertation investigates memory, trauma, and spatial politics through counter-mapping practices at the Tree of Life memorial site, analyzing how archival materials and public memory intersect in the aftermath of violence. Her research aims to advance trauma-informed, justice-centered approaches to archival theory and methodology, with particular attention to affect, space, and community resilience.
