Biography
Carol Heher Peters has worked in public relations, communications, outreach, and marketing for her entire career. She joined SC&I in May 2013. For five years, she also worked part-time as a writer and communications staff member at the Institute for Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS), Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. Prior to joining SC&I, Peters spent nearly 14 years as a climate science writer and assistant manager of communications and outreach at the Princeton Environmental Institute, Princeton University.
Peters co-authored the book “Investing for Middle America: John Elliott Tappan and the Origins of American Express Financial Advisors” with Kenneth Lipartito (Palgrave Macmillan). She recently earned a Digital Asset Management Bronze Certificate through SC&I. In her spare time, Peters enjoys photographing flowers and plants, cycling, and walking her dog, Josephine Bean.
