Biography
Katelyn Nesi is a librarian and educator with nearly 20 years of experience working in public, academic, and school library settings, supporting young adults through research instruction, media literacy, and information evaluation. She currently works full-time as a high school librarian and media specialist, collaborating with faculty, integrating educational technology, and designing digital resources to strengthen information literacy across disciplines.
In addition to her school-based work, Nesi previously served as a virtual reference librarian with Rutgers University Libraries, providing online research support to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. She has also contributed to the profession through service on the New Jersey State Library Network Review Board, the LibraryLinkNJ Executive Board, a Future Ready Schools and Libraries task force, and a school-based climate committee. Across her career, she is committed to helping learners develop critical thinking skills and confidently navigate today’s complex information landscape.
