Biography

Sherry Mason is a Ph.D. student in Media Studies. Mason’s research interests sit at the intersection of media, culture, social justice, and trauma. Her current research examines the role of media in meaning construction and collective identity through the trauma process. She is also interested in further exploring socially conscious marketing, or the commodification of social justice issues, in advertising and entertainment media.
