Grant Lattanzi

Doctoral Student

Biography

Grant Lattanzi studies media technology and everyday social life. He mixes interpretive and historical research methods to ask critical questions about the sociocultural impacts of mundane technologies - smartphones, platforms, and calendars - which surround us daily and inform how we organize activities in time and space.

Lattanzi's teaching and research engage a range of fields, including visual culture, science and technology studies, and media ecology. His ongoing research projects focus on the social uses of digital images in the age of computer vision, and the discourses of technology, public life, and climate change in the 'ClimateTech' sector.
