Satsuki Iseki

Satsuki Iseki’s research interest is in everyday social interactions. Iseki’s work intersects with linguistics, examining both linguistic and non-linguistic features in conversations (e.g., syntactic structures, disfluencies, laughter). Iseki’s current work uses conversation analysis to examine how people’s social categories (e.g., gender, race, age) become relevant to the interaction.
