Laura Eckenroad has more than 10 years of experience in education, training, and program coordination, with a background spanning higher education, K–12 education, and workforce development. Throughout her career, she has helped students, families, educators, and program participants navigate new learning environments and connect with the resources they need to succeed.
Before joining SC&I, Eckenroad taught elementary school in East Brunswick, where she coordinated instructional programming, supported students and families through academic transitions, and led districtwide training as the district implemented Google Classroom. She previously served as a tutoring manager and tutoring coordinator at The Princeton Review, where she guided families through the onboarding process, coordinated student and tutor schedules, developed training and instructional resources, and maintained ongoing communication with program participants.
Eckenroad began her career at Rutgers University as a writing tutor, providing individualized research and writing support to undergraduate and graduate students. She also brings experience as a small-business owner, managing client relationships, schedules, budgets, marketing, and projects from initial inquiry through completion. Her work reflects her expertise in instructional support, onboarding, project coordination, and relationship building, as well as her commitment to creating meaningful learning opportunities and fostering community engagement.
