Biography
Marley Doring is a communication and prevention professional with over six years of experience promoting health initiatives at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She manages the RU SURE and the Vicious Cycle campaigns, fostering campus-wide awareness about alcohol use and collegiate recovery.
Doring enjoys collaborating with the Alcohol and Other Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) and the Rutgers Recovery House on initiatives to reduce stigma surrounding substance use disorder and recovery and expanding access to NARCAN. She has spent many semesters integrating experiential learning into the classroom through collaboration with SC&I faculty member, Dr. Lea Stewart, guiding students in implementing impactful prevention and awareness campaigns.
Doring is passionate about health communication and providing students with opportunities to expand their perspectives on student life, health, and wellness. She strives to create an inclusive environment where students can grow, share ideas, and make meaningful contributions to something with purpose.
