Biography
Mark Beal's teaching leverages his thirty years in public relations and marketing. He teaches 300-, 400-, and graduate level courses with a focus on integrated marketing communication and prioritizes experiential learning including campaign development and activation. Beal also has a research focused on Generation Z as consumers and as employees.
Beal has received the Department of Communication Distinguished Achievement in Service and Distinguished Achievement in Teaching. He has also been named the Most Valuable Professor by the Rutgers golf and soccer teams. Beal has authored and co-authored 10 books (five books with a focus on Generation Z, and four books with a focus on careers and the workplace).
In the past few years, Beal co-authored "Conquering Job Transition, Win The Job & Thrive In A Multigenerational Workplace" and authored "ZEO, Introducing Gen Z - The New Generation Of Leaders." Beal's books led to a recent TEDx Talk. He will continue to pursue keynote speeches with a focus on Gen Z as consumers and employees. Beal's recent speeches included the Big Ten Academic Alliance and the Rutgers University Board of Trustees.
