Biography

Denise Anderson is a communications and marketing consultant for the higher education, corporate and non-profit industries, establishing brands from logo design to the execution of a comprehensive strategic marketing plan.

Anderson was previously employed by the New Jersey Institute of Technology as associate vice-president in the Office of Strategic Communications. She was responsible for the overall branding and strategic marketing for the university, including advertising, promotion, printed materials, special projects, integrated marketing communication campaigns, publications, web, public relations, digital media, etc. Under her leadership, the institute realized a 12 percent increase in freshman applications and a tripling in transfer applications. Anderson was also an assistant professor the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey & held a number of positions with Lucent Technologies/AT&T for 12 years.

Anderson serves on the board of trustees for the Monmouth Park Charity Fund and volunteers with the United Service Organization (USO). In addition, she serves on committees for the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore’s Silver and Gold Award and theKiefer-Stevens Scholarship. In 2019, she won the Apex Award for Publication Excellence by NJIT Research Magazine.
