Explore SC&I Minors
At SC&I, all undergraduate students must complete a minor unless they are pursuing a double major. Our minors in Digital Communication, Information, and Media; Gender and Media; and Data Science build skills that pair with any major and expand your academic and professional opportunities.
Open to all Rutgers students, each minor offers a focused path to explore emerging fields in communication, information, and media. Learn more about requirements and how to declare.
Digital Communication, Information, and Media (DCIM)
Learn to think critically and communicate effectively in digital environments.
Gender and Media
