Let's try looking at this from a pale-blue-dot perspective.
If views of the "pale blue dot" were compared, starting in the era of the Egyptians/pyramids and progressing by half century increments through to the present there would be a noticeable blurring or hazing of earth's image in the last three half centuries. More to the point, the view of the night sky from any point on earth as recorded over the same period would show a definite diminishment in clarity; galaxies and star systems clearly visible to the naked eye from the floor of the Valley of Tombs during the time of their construction have become indistinguishable in the last hundred and fifty years. How much of a plausibility jump is it to postulate* that the nature of the earth's atmosphere has changed to a point where its heat retention qualities have been changed and/or compromised? Anyway, you zeroed in on the wrong boogyman this time. My "monstrous" something new isn't global warming but the corporate entity - and a century and a half would be a more accurate date for when it became a significant part of the international scene. The structure of corporations is mandated by their state appointed charters to exclude from the securing of a maximin return to their stockholders - their Bottom Line - any and all other considerations. So in spite of the benevolent images many have been able to hoist off on an easily manipulated public, the corporations by the very nature of their legal charters are monstrous entities. From plundering the planet's resources to inflicting harm on employees to polluting land, air, water and seas there is nothing they will not do to increase their bottom lines. It's in their natures. I'm dubious about even the short-term wellbeing of the polar bears - and a basically selfish nature makes me even more concerned for our own. *http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/postulate

The global waming is a real threat. I wacthed Al Gore`s documentary and other 5 or 6 made by different people and this is a real problem, not a joke.
@Juke_spin: watch this documentary "The Corporation 2003", it`s great. Anyone knows where i can find to download all the episodes from Carl Sagan's documentaries? Thanks !

OK, so I read some of your back posts and your avatar's easy to look at and you're a live wire. How about resolving a bit of the remaining mystery for us: outside of finding (at least some of) us fascinating, why are you here?

there is also global cooling going on. the small particles in the upper atmosphere. they collect water , surrounding them. they act like a big mirror and reflect the sun heat. now when the people start cleaning things up in the sky and the full heat of the sun can reach the earth , whats going to happen then?
