Becky, I just read your post about sitting on the train tracks, and wish I could jump on a plane and come to Chicago to be with you. You could cry, rant, cry some more, whatever. When you were worn out from all that crying you could introduce me to Chicago pizza because even in the midst of depression and feeling lost you still have to eat. Please listen to the advice that people here are giving you about going to an ER to get some help. I know it won't be easy to do that on any level, but your life is important, more important that momentary humiliation or fear. I agree that you have so much to look forward to. Your first place of your own, romance, travel, career........who knows what the future holds, but my guess is that you will find a good one if you hang in now. Look at how many people here respond to you. That is not an accident or some random thing happening. You get responses because there is a whole community here who cares about you and wants you to make it. It is OK to be struggling, and it is courageous to get help when you need to.

Becky, I know you have struggled with your family for a while and that on top of your injury is alot to deal with. We all go through these times. Just like everyone else here has said, you need to seek help. I wish so much that you could get out with some friends and rent a place seperate from your parents. You have so much to offer the world. You have talked here about things you want to do and things you enjoy like singing.
I was afraid to ask for help when I got into a slump that I couldnt get out of. But now I am glad I did because I realize I have so much that I want to do. You cant enjoy things when you are depressed....and sometimes we all need a little help to get out of the valley. Your doctors appointment is tomorrow, please share your feelings with him/her. I dont want to lose another Carecure friend. i wish there was something more I could do besides write on a message board but know that I care.

Becky, it just occurred to me (reading through some of your previous messages) that you are taking medication for your tachycardia. Are you taking propranolol or atenelol (beta-blockers)? Beta blockers can cause serious depression, hallucinations, and nightmares. I strongly suggest that you go to an emergency and get this evaluated. Your feelings may be drug induced.

I am taking Metoprolol. I know what the nightmares are from. Thank you for the option. I wish it was drug induced. Becky, Chicago

Your smile is beautiful, Becky, and you inspire people with your obvious talent and gifts. You've inspired me since I first read some of your posts. That kind of giving of one's inner soul does a lot to help people, here at CC, and everywhere else in the world.
We all love you, so some things are going ok
