Tires

What tires are everybody running? I have primos now and I think they are crap. I was looking at the new Marathons on sportaid but I'm worried about the weight. Any suggestions?

i went from primos to solids to schwalbes, and would never go back. they are the best of both worlds - pneumatic ride with no punctures. i thought they were well worth the weight

I took the schwalbes off and changed to primo passage after seeing SCI_OTR promote them (though I see he switched the other way now). The schwalbes are heavier, and the passage have a better tread to grip if you push off the tire.

The Passages are indeed better for pushing off the tire. The Schwalbe's sidewalll is less-abrasive if you push using the handrims and the base of your hand makes contact with them.

The Schwalbes have a better ride and less rolling resistance. Come next winter, I'll go back to my Passages for better traction.
