pain through the roof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why but lately the last month or so, my pain level has jumped through the roof. I don't have a UTI or anything like that. I physically feel fine except for the pain. Its all over my body. It even hurts to breathe. I mean COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not getting any sleep cuz of it since laying down usually makes things worse if that is at all possible. No advice needed. I'm just venting. Thanks

Becky,
Chicago

Bummer. That sounds miserable, Becky. Have you seen a doc?

I think it's the weather. I never rate my pain a 10, I reserve that for gallbladder attacks and kidney stones. But 2 nights ago I realized I was pegging a solid 10. Toes all curled up, fingers frozen in place, couldn't breathe due to pain. I'm sorry you're hurting too. Try to believe that tomorrow will be better!

I hate it when I get those unexplained payingdays, where the pain just kicks up out of nowhere. It's like someone turned up the frying pan underneath me but there's no real trigger. I know the weather sometimes makes a different, but still, once in a while out of the blue I'll start hurting like crazy. I sympathize with you and hope it gets better soon.

Make the best out of today because yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come. Nobody knows that better than those of us that have almost died from spinal cord injury.

When I do this...the humidity is usually really high.

I am in a drier climate now and on Wednesday/Thursday my legs hurt the worse since I moved out here. I went ahead and filled out a request for Friday off.... Sure enough the humidity was high and it rained a little on Thursday evening and Friday.

It sucks that my body is an accurate weather predictor.... At least its not that southern heat/humidity. I told my daughter the other night that I didnt think I would ever be able to live in North Carolina again.

What is really odd is the snow dont bother me. Maybe my body is just possessed?

Take care Becky and dont grind your teeth like I have. I hope your pain (and everyone elses) eases soon.

Sorry Becky. Me too, I've been pretty painful and really tight too which takes my breathe. Lets keep our fingers crossed that some nice warm weather will help.(well, you keep yours crossed for me since
I can't. k? )

My pains are having a ball tormenting me, and coming up with new sensations as well.

Barometric pressure is definitely part of it for me. Low pressure before/during rain cranks my pain up a few notches. I keep varying my meds, trying to find the magic combination for each occasion. I hope you find ways to better deal with it, pain steals you life away.
