Besides trying to have the extra meds on hand, I also kieep a complete, up-dated list of all my meds in my purse and glove box in the car.

The list comes in handy when I go to the doctor too. I can let the office staff copy it and put it with my chart.

Most all of us in FL are prepared for disaster. It used to be that I only kept supplies stocked during hurricane season. Since 911, I keep the disaster closet stocked with canned food and potable water year round. We learned a lot about being self-sufficient after Hurricane Wilma left us without power for 2 weeks, and added a crank up radio and lights to our supplies. We also added solar lights to our gardens that we enjoy every evening.
