Get Vista Ultimate, Office Ultimate, Etc. for the low price of FREE

Hey, it's me Andy, not some spambot.

Anyhoo, some of you might be interested in a little something I ran into today...free Vista or Office or other MS stuff.

1- Read this

If you are a Windows Vista or Windows XP user and decide to join and participate in both programs, we will send you a free Microsoft product when you participate in the program. Limit one gift per person. This offer is non-transferable. This offer expires on 12/31/07, while supplies last, and is not redeemable for cash. Taxes, if any, are your sole responsibility. The current list of products to choose from are:

Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate (32-bit and 64-bit DVD)
Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007
Microsoft Money Plus Premium
Microsoft Student with Encarta Premium 2008
Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008

2- Participate in both of those things here:

http://wfp.microsoft.com/Welcome.aspx

I'm in for a copy of Vista...if I can find another spare computer laying around I'll probably get the latest Office package also. I say spare computer as I dont want the MS spyware on my used machines for 3 months...but turning on my spare laptop once a week to surf Google or something counts . You get my drift? Just put another name/email addy on the next 'free gift' for being helpful sign up

Good luck

Naaah, saving it, might need it in say...3 years. Check out craigslist, seems lots of people that got in on this deal are selling the disks for around $30-50 USD

Yes, miKr0z0ft sux, lol. But I DO have dvds of 32 and 64 bit Vista Ultimate
I loaded 32 bit and wasn't impressed on my laptop many moons ago and decided I wouldn't buy it.
I downloaded the 2 versions above a couple of months ago to try on my quadcore. I tried the 32bit for a day and then loaded the 64bit over that partition to overwrite it. It's a dual boot with xp btw.
I loaded teamspeak and LoMac and flew a few days with Bob and the gang. I wasn't impressed enough to use it full time. There are no 64 bit applications or games that I use written for it yet. It uses 900MB of ram idling, lol. It was nice to see all 4 GB that I have installed, I don't have Linux on here as the motherboard isn't linux friendly yet.
It is ok as MS stuff goes, but they got a long way to go, as usual.

Copies of the dvds can be made for inquiring minds.
