Coors field handicap Access

I'm sure you've heard that the CO Rockies are going to the World Series. We had somewhat of a ticket debacle here when too many people tried to buy tickets online. The servers couldn't handle the load and all hell broke loose. This has been a major topic on talk radio for the last couple of days. I've heard some disabled callers say they were unable to get handicap seating.

When I went to Coors field a couple of years ago I notice there were able body patrons occupying handicap seats. I asked the usher why they allowed able body people to use those seats. Her reply was that they are not allowed to question people about their disabilities and thus anyone can use those seats.

I'm not the kind of person to make a fuss about issues like that. I realize if a disabled person isn't using the seat they should be sold to whoever. I just hope those disabled fan are able to have access to those first before they were sold to non-disabled fans.

BTW, Coors field has great access of disable people and virtually every handicap seat has great views.

coors is very accessible, and no they can't ask, BUT they will move ambulatories to nearby seats if they are blocking access to wc spots....regardless, i'd hate to navigate anything down there in a chair this coming week..its gonna suck to be 4' tall in those crowds......
