Question bored quad

I am a c2-c3 vent dependent quadriplegic. I am looking for something to do to occupy my time. I have across to a computer all day every day. I was wondering what others are doing and what suggestions anyone might have.
( I am without transportation right now )

Thank you,
Thelma

I live just up the road (400) from you. How mobile are you? Do you have access to transportation?

I currently have no means of transportation because my van is in need of repair. Otherwise I am very mobile.

Somebody about your level just had a thread about the same thing here a bit ago. I'll try to find it, or maybe someone else remembers. All the best, and welcome to CareCure.

Thelma, welcome to CareCure. This may sound familiar, I'm a C2/C3 vent dependent quad, 22 years post injury.

What do you enjoy doing? I play computer games such as rail and flight simulators and surf the net. I also run my own business building and maintaining web sites. When I get off the computer, I'm working on my next degree, traveling three days a week, talking to grade schools about disability awareness and volunteer at a camp for handicapped kids.

If you like cooking, that works well with having your assistants work on different experiments under your direction. Others can add to that more than I can, but there are many possibilities.
