Question Judge?

What standards do you apply when you're judging a personality?

Cool

Judge not, lest ye be judged.

One should practice not to be judgmental.

Your conclusion is inaccurate, but that chapter is an excellent reply to the question asked here. Matthew 7 is not about avoiding judgment altogether. The chapter, taken as a whole, (as it should be) instructs people to not be hypocrites. Basically it states that one should not apply standards to others that one doesn't live up to.

Can you really judge a personality?
There are some people I dislike because of their personality but I don't judge them for it. It's there persona, it's who they are.

My 2 cents.

For a deeper, more meaningful phrasing of one aspect:

Cool What I meant

What criteria do you apply to formulate an idea about a person? Whether s/he is successful, good, nice, trust-worthy etc ....

Above all else, I value kindness. When I think about my core group of life-long friends (my dogs) they are all kind, intelligent, funny, flexible, loyal, dependable, brave, creative, resourceful, honest, strong, positive people. Damn, I'm lucky to know such people and have them call me friend!

If you are gonna have to judge someone, take a look at the type of people they associate with.
