Scar tissue
I was looking to find a ointment that is good for softening scar tissue.Any ideas are appreciated.

in the US there's an expensive over the counter ointment called mederma, it's quite concentrated though and lasts a long time if your scar isn't too big

Crags, can I get this Mederma at Walmart? If so it may be possible they carry it here. I'll give them a call, thanks.

this sounds really weird and everyone I tell this to laughs at me, but here goes. I have a large scare, about 8in X 4 in, on my left shoulder. the thing that helped it the most, clear up and soften the scar tissue. Was sun tan lotion and lots of time at the beach. I use a lotion called Bandesoli (sp?) is has a self tanner in it and works great. I know it sounds weird, but I have also put it on at times when I am at home.

does mederma really work? i heard it's not that great and it's expensive. coco butter is supposed to help
