Killing Bacteria

I was perusing www.thinkgeek.com the other day and came across this:

What do people think about using this to help sterilize catheters and other IC related objects or surfaces.

Hi,

I never heard of this and found it interesting but I would not use ultraviolet rays on a urinary catheter at this point. If interested, you could check with the manufacturer but it seems the products they recommmend it for is plastic type and not intended to be inserted into your body.

I would definitely want much more information on this use! Not worth trying something that could cause more problems. Let's see what others think.'
