My Beyond Therapy Funding was approved!

Whoo! After dealing with crooked and incompetent hand control installers this is some good news. I get two free months of BT treatment and it can't come at a better time as my quads and calves are actually beginning to flicker and contract oh so slightly 19 mos. post. Maybe they can make these contractions stronger. It's worth a go as it sure can't hurt.

WTG, wheelie. That's great news. ::thumbs up::

Here's hoping you can maximize those flickering muscle contractions with additional therapy.

Good for you. I wish I lived closer so I could do some more therapy there. Glad to hear you are driving (:

Thanks Mem. I have to try or I'll never know. Hopefully, I can make it to Shepherd without my controls falling off. ;-)

Hey Addie. Hope you're doing well. You are a hard woman to reach these days! Let me know how you are doing...

Congratulations! The funding is great but the continued return in your legs is even better.

I should see you down there as I will be in the program as well in June.

Cheers,

Colin

Cool. I've been on the waiting list for ages. I've had the opportunity to see what goes on first hand since I'm a bit of a regular there. They've done wonders with the place over the past year and they've actually got all of the equipment off of the basketball court and into proper training rooms. The leg muscles attempting to move is kinda' odd. It started back months ago as eletrical shocks, then pressure, and now people can feel the contractions in the muscles now. It's slow and coming but it is. Gotta' keep the faith...

What you've described about your muscles is progress. Keep working it, keep moving. Maximize what you've got.

We may not have the bodies we'd have chosen, but what we're left with must see us through the duration. Keep up the hard work. Keep getting strong and stronger.

Yeah, here's hoping your hand controls hang in for you.

::thumbs up:: for the progress you're seeing.

Your enthusiasm is contagious.
