when the pres. gets the bill

Just wondering on the progress of the house and senate versions of S.5. Haven't seen anything on the news (suprise,surpise) about the bill heading to the president's desk. What is the timeline? An enquiring mind wants to know. Thanks!

Hi momo;

I also wonder about the status of S. 5. The best I could ascertain while in DC was that it would take at least a week or 10 days to get through the Conference (?) Committee where it sits. Evidently, the House and Senate must resolve differences in the language between their two bills. Though this is only a formality, the priority for handling it may be timed for maximum impact. That's just a guess.
