Hats off to the doers. LOL, Leo, you were working on this when I was still dancing on tables! (And, errrr, falling in fountains.

I know Wise and Unite2Fight people are planning on organizing an event to thank the Congressional champions of CDRPA, but I decided to go up to the House floor during the last series of votes to personally congratulate her and thank her for her work on CDRPA. I told her that there were a lot of people watching the vote today who are thrilled by it and who are grateful to her for all her work. Since most of the focus was on the rest of HR 146, she really appreciated that someone noticed and was grateful for what she had done.

Who are our greatest congressional heroes to whom I should send my thanks?

cubsfandc-Is there any possibility you could see Sen. Harkin today, and tell him that Betheny Winkler, the red-headed CDRPA advocate from OK, sent personal thanks?
I'd give so much to be able to do that right now... And kudos for thanking her personally. I bet it meant a lot. I wish we could all do it more often. Like Leo says, if we lived in DC... |
