Sling procedure for urethra/problems with urine leakage
After several years of having an indwelling foley catheter, my urologist has said that my urethra has eroded which is causing a lot of leakage from the bladder. So I have to undergo a sling procedure and then have a suprapubic tube put in. I am a female with a T8 incomplete injury. Has anyone had this procedure and can you tell me what to expect? Will there be problems with leakage after the surgery? How painful would it be? If anyone has any words of wisdom, I would truly appreciate it.
