Dr. Forsythe was found innocent of the federal charges by a jury I think over 6 months ago.

I recently received an email from a carecure member who provides strong evidence that Medra and the claims made by William Rader are fraudulent. I am trying to get that member to post the information or permission to post that information.

Medra is a Scam and Ricci is a liar
Hello Dr Young ,
My name is Lisa French. I was honored to be in the audience when you received your induction into the Spinal Cord Hall of Fame, because my brother-in-law, Duane French, was also inducted. I am writing you today concerning Medra. First, I would like to thank you for the time you generously spend educating people about the danger of overseas stem cell therapy and your sharing your opinion that many are scams. In 2006, a very close friend's 29 year old son had a motorcycle accident resulting in a C6-C7 incomplete injury. Last May, she received a google alert about Medra Inc. She watched the Ricci Kilgore testimony and the youtube video. To make a long story short. She posted an inquiry on a Fetal stem cell topix forum board and was immediately contacted by a Lisa Brower who is the mother of miracle child Jake AKA Brian's Miracle from the Medra website. They spoke for over 4 hours. Lisa Brower made it clear she was just a mom, not an employee. Within one week, she talked to Rader who assured her every one of his SCI patients improved. Although skeptical she and her son booked to go. In July of 2008, she traveled with her son to the D.R. for treatment. She was misled into believing that she would go to a clinic and Dr Rader would be there. This was not so and no explanation was given. She was taken by an unmarked inaccessible handicap van to a vacation resort house in a deserted complex, which was under construction. Rader was not there. Instead, they were greeted by Raders’ wife, who has no medical license. A pediatric nurse started an I.V. but first put some blood on a slide. They took the slide to the house next door. While waiting for the stem cells, they were asked to sign a release form that stated that they would not go to the media or special interest groups that may be damaging to Rader. They would not sign such a form, since they intended to tell of the experience, good or bad. Within 5 minutes, Rader called me to assure them that he wanted everyone to tell of their experience. He just didn’t want the pro-lifers to come down on him. Without signing the paper, the procedure continued. The stem cells arrived from the house next door. The pediatric nurse took the syringe and gave 4 shots in the stomach, what was left over went into the I.V. The entire procedure took only five minutes but you have a saline drip for 45 minutes to flush the so called stem cells. Then you are told good-bye. No paperwork, nothing. Bye and have fun at the resort. Four people an hour for 30,000 a pop. After the treatment she was very skeptical and took names and e-mail addresses. After the six month waiting period, she contacted everyone. The ten people wrote back, no improvement what-so-ever. Upon looking closer at Medra it is evident that the parents of Medra's miracle children also work for Rader. John Brower is the man that stood up at the 2008 Stem Cell Summit in Madison, Wisconsin with his photo album of son, Jake. You addressed him saying"I would urge Dr. Rader to actually submit all his patients for before-and-after examinations by neurologists and so forth," http://www.madison.com/tct/news/306200 John Brower is a Medra employee. He is in charge of patient relations. He does have a disabled son but his story is a manipulation and a lie. His son is Brian's Miracle on the Medra website. The Brower's say they changed his name for privacy sake. It was probably to have no connection to the Mexican umbilical cord treatment. The Browers are commititing fraud. See the link pages 21-23 http://www.caseybarnes.org/stemcells.pdf or http://web.archive.org/web/20061111063401/www.strokedoctor.com/newsletters/SEP-OCT-2006.pdf All these improvement were before they saw Rader in 2006 according to the Ramirez brochure. This is substantiated by the following article dated August 2006. http://wcbstv.com/investigates/CBS.2....2.236923.html In am in no way saying this Steenblock/Ramirez group healed Jake but the timing of his recovery was right after the injury not after three years in a PVS, as Medra claims. What would possess a person to sell their story to another company, only the Browers know. Ricci Kilgore is a liar also see attached link. http://www.vaultworld.com/vaultngus/...2000/05-45.txt So it seems Medra info-commercial and youtube star Ricci was told by doctors she would walk. That is not what she claimed on the Medra site or in her articles. I am not sure who I am more disgusted with, Ricci the fraud or reporters who do not investigate the facts. Dr Rader probably found Ricci through her so called uncle Dr James Forsythe, who works with her mother Valerie Kilgore at the century Wellness Clinic in Reno Nevada.. As you know, Dr Scheller was Rader's chief scientist until his death in 2005. Along with stem cells he was also involved with alternative cancer treatment. Note the last paragraph in the article below. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m.../ai_n16702337/ In the US, Dr. James Forsythe, MD, at the Cancer Screening & Treatment Center in Reno, Nevada, is following many of the cancer treatment protocols of Dr. Scheller. This is how I believe, Medra found the perfect spinal cord patient that miraculously walked . Rader's first miracle was Clayton Fatherlee, the seizing child with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. Claytons parents are Azita Karimkhany Fatheree and George C Fatheree. In this article Azita talks of how she stored her son's cord blood. Why would they take their son to Rader's miracle juice instead of using his own cord blood. The whole thing is a scam. I actually thought these people wrongly believed Rader helped their kids. They are simply frauds. http://www.wired.com/medtech/health/news/2001/12/48957 Medra is all a well ran scam. My friend and I have been trying to expose Dr Rader . Our goal is to shut down Medra. National attention would ruin Rader. The BBC just exposed him but it drew little attention here in the states. It appears in these slow economic times Dr Rader has resorted to bring traveler's checks and make up your mind when you get here technique. Build trust and avoid the IRS. http://news.bbc.co.uk/panorama/hi/fr...00/8050166.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/panorama/hi/fr...00/8052670.stm Rader expanded to Tijuana this year and has a book coming out. http://www.allbookstores.com/author/William_C_Rader.html I am having a hard time sharing the planet with these con men and women. They need to be exposed. Ricci Kilgore should be shunned by the disability community for the money that she helped to scam out of her SCI brothers and sisters. Thank you for your dedication to the SCI community. Lisa French |

SURGERY SUCCESSFUL FOR RICCI KILGORE, ISU TRACK ATHLETE
INVOLVED IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Feeling Restored Throughout Her Legs - Medical Team Says She'll Walk Again Reno, NV - Ricci Kilgore's surgery to repair and relieve pressure on a ruptured vertebrae in her broken back was successful today at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. The surgery was so successful, in fact, that feeling was restored throughout her legs, and the medical team that performed the operation said she should regain full use of her legs. Kilgore, a freshman pole vaulter for Idaho State, was injured as she and two other freshmen track athletes returned home from a trip to Reno. The surgical team and Kilgore came out of the 6-8 hour operation today feeling great about her chances to walk again. The surgery entailed cleaning out the bone fragments from the ruptured vertebrae, straightening out the two vertabrae above the injured one to relieve pressure, and grafting bone from her hip to reconstruct the damaged segment. Prior to the surgery, Kilgore had feeling to her knees, but not below. After the surgery, Kilgore's mother, Val, reported that her daughter had feeling throughout her leg once again. Kilgore herself was still under the influence of the medication used in the operation, and could not be reached for comment. A jubilant Paul Heglar, her coach at Reno High School, said that "everything could not have gone better" regarding the surgery today on Kilgore. Heglar plans to visit Kilgore Wednesday morning at Washoe Medical Center. Her will be taking emails of prayer and support to her in the morning, and said that he would gladly accept any sent his way for Kilgore. Heglar's email address is: pheglar@ix.netcom.com Kilgore was driving back with Nick Herald and Paul Litchfield when their van encountered black ice about a mile east of the I-84/I-86 junction and flipped. Kilgore, who was sent out of the back window of the van, was thrown 30 feet and broke her back upon impact. The affected vertabrae is located in the lumbar region, almost directly across from the belly button. Herald, who was driving, and Litchfield did not require medical attention. Kilgore was taken to Cassia Hospital in Burley, Idaho, then Life-Flighted to Washoe Medical Center. ----- PHYSICAL THERAPY MAY START IN NEXT FEW DAYS FOR RICCI KILGORE, ISU POLE VAULTER INVOLVED IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Reno, NV Ð Following successful surgery yesterday on Ricci KilgoreÕs broken back, feeling has been restored throughout her legs and into her toes, and physical therapy could begin as early as the end of the week. A freshman pole vaulter for Idaho State, she was injured as she and two other freshmen track athletes returned home from a trip to Reno A 6-8 hour surgery was performed Tuesday at RenoÕs Washoe Medical Center to repair and relieve pressure on a ruptured vertebrae in her broken back. Contacted in Intensive Care Wednesday morning at Washoe, Kilgore said she has regained feeling to her toes, and said that doctors had said they may begin physical therapy at the end of the week to begin the recovery process.Ê Paul Heglar, her coach at Reno High School, said that this morning he took her about 40 emails of prayer and support, notes that had been coming in steadily since the accident Sunday night. Heglar said he received emails from all over the country, from people whoÕd never heard of Kilgore but wanted to offer their best wishes, from places as far away as Australia, and from former world-class athletes who had endured similar accidents and just wanted to let her know to keep her chin up in the days and months to come.Ê Heglar said he is still receiving emails and will be bringing those into her. He will gladly accept any sent his way for Kilgore. HeglarÕs email address is: pheglar@ix.netcom.comÊ ----- VaultnGus would like to wish Ricci all the best towards a full and speedy recovery and thanks to Paul Heglar for keeping us informed and passing along all of our well wishes... http://www.vaultworld.com/vaultngus/...2000/05-45.txt Ricci actually says on the Medra info-commercial " "I wasnt offered a whole lot of umm therapy because they didn't have a lot of hope" Liar! MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT Ricci is still connected to Medra. In March of this year a SCI patient complained on a topix stem cell board about Dr Rader being a rip -off. First he was called by John Brower, then Dr Rader and offered an all expense paid trip back to the DR for free stem cells but he had to retract his post. Still skeptical, they pulled out the big gun, Ricci Kilgore and she explained how you have to make the stem cells work for you. Ha ha. He retracted his post and was sent to the Tijuana. At this point I am relieved he didn't end up missing. Who knows what is possible with this group of criminals. I have tried to post on her YOUTUBE stem cell video that she is a fraud but they keep pulling my comment and saying I am liable. I welcome court. |

Thanks for sharing the info Ljoy....finally some legitimate news!
Dr. Rader and everyone involved with him should be rounded up and given SCIs, then test their therapy on them. |

You are more than welcome. I am thankful for sites like Care Cure that are based in science, which is like Kryptonite to Medra
Everyone that was scammed by Medra has the same reason. Living with the "What if" false hope, Medra & it's con miracle patients sell. After you realize you have been scammed, most stay quiet, it is embarrassing. It infuriates me that Ricci's lies helped fleece so many people, not just SCI patients out of needed money. This is just one example of many- Here is blog of a mother with a child with with a rare seizure disorder called Infantile Spasms. NOtice that Azita-mom of miracle child Clayton forward her the Ricci Video.. Then Ricci's husband follows it up with information. http://sorenrogers.blogspot.com/2007...ent-of-dr.html Ricci's youtube video and SElf magazine article sent hundred of patients to Rader in the last 2 years. Countless warnings of the top researchers and doctors does not compare to these visual formats, when you are the determined desperate parent of a sick child. Rader, the L.A. on air psychiatrist, scripts his scam to perfection. Last edited by Ljoy; 06-11-2009 at 02:42 PM. |

missing link in Ricci's recovery
I have seen all the info on Ricci's stem cell treatments, and the many articles, videos, and speaking engagements in which she speaks volumes about her stem cell campaign. Here is something that I believe must be said about her recovery that for some reason she doesn't talk about. While in Pocatello, ID Ricci was receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments at a medical facility for pressure wounds. As a matter of fact, she was being treated very close to the time of the stem cell treatments. It is VERY possible that the MANY Hyperbaric treatments that she received may very well have contributed greatly if not TOTALLY to her healing!! Yet in all of the videos, articles, etc. that I have seen, she never mentions this. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is known to heal more than just pressure ulcers- it is known to regrow cells, and heal numerous diseases and ailments inside the body, particularly bone and spinal injuries and infections. How do we know that her recovery is due to the stem cell treatments and not due to, at least in part, Hyperbaric treatments? The answer is, we don't..... It is MORE likely, especially in light of all the negative feedback from Dr. Raders treatments, that Hyperbarics is what she should be campaigning for.....I'm not saying that she didn't work hard to get where she is, and it is a great story, but shouldn't we get the whole story?
