leaving for vegas next week again(question)

what can I say, its my town. husband has some business mtg, me I get to tag along for 24 hours and sit comfortably nestled in front of slot machines, good way to spend 2 days, then its surgery again on the 6th of March , what can I say Im a Vegas gal, easy access, love the glitter, and the sounds of machines.

but I HATE I repeat HATE the airports, sigh I hate the TSA Molesters, have they nothing better to do than molest people in their wheelchairs!???, oh last time I got the dreaded SSSS second screening, hmm I travel about 2 times per year on average these days, I weight spit! cant hide a thing on my tiny frame, maybe its my evil inhaler.

Must ask since I havent traveled since the newest stupid liquid garbage, do I put my inhalers in a BAGGIE! (whose dumb idea was that) and declare it???. I have my meds in original bottles, only taking a couple of my narcotic pills in its bottle (my doctors idea), those are not liquid , telling my hubby to keep close eye on my meds, dont want those NASTY FILTHY gloves mauling my meds.
ah yes I remember the days when travel was fun.
Im getting old.

Luv Jo

I suppose you look too much like your everyday terrorist, Jo

My guess is that copious use of Baggies is a good idea - helps to keep their hands out of your stuff; a little less likely that a bottle will "accidentally" open & your valuable meds will disappear.

Have a blast in Vegas - wasn't your original name here was I Luv Vegas? - you sure deserve a break.

Best wishes for your surgery - do keep us posted on everything.

Unhappy thanks Richard, I cant go

Well hello there guy, wish I could get to Vegas this week but its not going to happen, I just got over a cold and not feeling to well, so cant risk any possible more viruses right before surgery, so were out 100$ on that plane flight. he is still going since its mtgs for him. BUT! he just booked us all for this summer (june) to go since our daughters turning 21 , plus were going to Palm springs the end of March for 3 days, so all in all its ok.

Im a good traveler in that I like to do things, I have to rest I get very tired in the afternoon then I pick up speed again at night! .

Cannot complain, although I so rarley travel, Im on a roll for this year, life is just too short not to enjoy it and see all one can, besides it gives me a chance to wear my binkinis,ha,ha,ha,ha like anyone would even notice , young at heart with failing body, but always like to have fun.

Peace and hugs
JO

Hey, sorry you can't make the trip but you'll have a blast this summer!

Hope your surgery goes well sweetheart.

Sorry to hear you've been sick, Jo, but glad you have more adventures of the travel kind coming your way. Rest and continue to recover from the cold.

**Many Hugs**

That's a bummer, Jo. I sure hope everything goes well for you and you've recovered from the surgery and feeling top of the line by the time of the Palm Springs trip.
Furthest we've been from the house in the last 2 years is the hour and a half trips to see the physiatrist!
All the best,
- Richard
