UFC 67 "All or Nothing"
Anyone gonna watch?
I am. Mirko and Rampage are coming over from Pride to beat on some UFC boys. These will be two fights I can positively predict. Rampage is fighting Marvin Eastman, who won a decision over Rampage 7 years ago in KOTC. Anyone (seneca) think Lutter can beat A. Silva? I think it will be a better fight than the one with Leben and Franklin, just because Lutter knows exactly what not to do. |

I might watch
Kenny Florez and I had the same grappling instructor at different times. Before my accident in 2005 I was a mixed martial arts fanatic. I even had my own school-it was so much fun. Lately, I have had a hard time watching the fights-as much as I love Joe Rogan's fight commentaries. I am paralyzed from the shoulders down now. My oldest son, 15 years old, has been kick boxing for about 10 years and grappling for about three. It is amazing to watch him get submissions on full-grown men. Arm bars, rear naked chokes-if he gets on your back-
Tell me about your background in the sport. |

I'm really sorry to hear that you suffered such a high injury.
How did you get hurt? A lot of the successful fighters today started training really young like your son. Maybe we'll see him fighting professionally some day. I've been a fan for a long time. I started watching in '95 when I saw UFC 6. Tank Abbott beat the hell out of everybody and I was hooked. |

This UFC is going to be interesting. Having Rampage and Cro Cop coming over is going to set a different tone for the 2 weight classes. I don't think Rampage will lose, but I'm def. not rooting for him. His addition is to go against Liddell. If he wins 2 matches, Dana may give him a shot. He (Rampage) needs to work his way up like everyone else so a loss would be great. Cro Cop is my favorite Pride fighter. He should dominate anyone and everyone.. What will also be interesting is Randy Couter's return. Anything can happen.
I'm pulling for Lutter against Silva.. If he gets him down he has a HUGE advantage. Lutter's standup is very weak, but Buck you are right, Lutter knows what not to do...hopefully. Quote:

Pride still does that with the Open Weight Grand Prix. Mirko won the last one. |

I am so stoked about Randy's return although I don't think he can beat Silvia. It would be great if he became HW champ again tho. Glad to see Mirko in the UFC. He can easily beat Tim, Randy and Arlovsky. Pride fighters are just generally better than UFC fighters IMO. I've been watching MMA since around 2000. Hubby was a kick boxer and wrestler and introduced me to it. I think we have every PRIDE, K-1, KOTC and UFC tape available. Last edited by antiquity; 02-02-2007 at 07:12 PM. |

![]() I'm hoping Quintin beats Eastman, he certainly should but Quintins been a little flaky since becoming born again. He doesn't have the same intensity. That's why I'm not sure if he can beat Liddell again. |

only has Chuck gotten better, but Rampage has gotten worse. Lutter's gonna surprise some people. |

HOLY SHIT! Lutter didn't make weight, this won't be a title fight,
and thats even if A. Silva still wants to fight. He doesn't have to if he doesn't want to since Lutter (the bastard) didn't make weight. |
