Any experience using a modem as a telephone?
I would like to be able to make and receive phone calls using the same headset as I do for Dragon. I am currently using skype, which works well for me, but I also need access to our "landline". Seems like I should be able to do this with a data/fax/voice modem, but I haven't found any good answers on the Web. Any suggestions?

Of coarsse you can... Make sure your modem IS a voice modem though or it won't.
Windows use to have a dialer, but can't seem to find it on XP. Edit And i found it at C:\Program Files\Windows NT Never used this one, but it seems to be what you want. |
