Ok adi, I thought your question was more about washing than how you wash. Using an Aquatec in the bathtub here. As for your low blood pressure, did you try midodrine (Amatine)?

I'd be more afraid of low blood pressure than of that medicine. Do you use an abdominal binder? TED hose? Try those if you're afraid of the medicine. Low blood pressure is going to get you hurt. It's a matter of time until you fall out and crack your head on something.
Drink a big glass of water before you get out of bed in the morning too. Also, alcohol dehydrates you, which makes your blood pressure even lower. Plus, another good reason you might want to try the meds, maybe your family gets tired of giving you bed baths. Just a guess. I know mine would. Sorry to preach. Low blood pressure made me feel horrible and it was unnecessary. |

they give me somethin for low bp too when i first got hurt, can't remember what it was called. mines pretty much leveled out now. in my opinion....the more you get up the better it'll get. i used to turn 3 shades of green when tryin to take a shower but i kept fighting it and now its no problem.
bed baths SUCK. i take a shower EVERY day. i use a padded shower bench. i can't get goin without one. i even drug myself up and showered when i had a 102+ degree fever from a bad staph infection i had. |

typically on Mondays and Fridays.. and Tuesdays and Saturdays.. usually Wednesdays as well as Sunday, but not Thursdays. if i happen to alternate a day for Thursday, i will usually do Saturday, unless i have plans early and then i'll typically do Tuesday. i have more options, but this is to give an idea.. sadly enough tho', i can't wipe my own ass..
