Kuschall Airlite Pro--My turn at pics!!!

OK, so wed I got to pick up my new "Budweiser" chair as I've affectionately started calling it...Yep, the colors I got it in are Red with blue accents and black upholstry...BUDWEISER colors...I'm looking for a good #8 decal to put on my back rest and gonna make myself a custom Dale Jr cushion cover...It'll be the ultimate NASCAR fan chair when I'm complete So, here's a few pics of it with some of the features I got....As you can see, Smokie has already made herself comfy in it....LOL

Side view

It has fold down push handles, center mount anti-tipper(LOVE IT!!!), quick release front casters, flip back carbon fiber side guards, 26"wheels(which the rims SHOULD be blue as well as the axles...working on fixing that), a Roho Jetstream Pro back, High-Mount foot rest, titanium backrest bracket and seat frame

Quick Release front caster

Center-mount anti-tipper(quick release)

(removed w/pin)

High-mount footrest(had to have this b/c my lower legs are UBER short...didn't have to pay the extra cost for it...actually didn't order it was going to put spacers under the carbon fiber foot plate, Kuschall automatically added it based on my leg length measurement...It's nice to be able to reach the foot plate though...)

Side guards folded in before folding backrest down

Side guards 1/2 way up...(with Smokie making herself comfy as well...)

back rest folded all the way down...locks in place when folded down so that you can lift the chair from the bar on the back

Side view of chair

Seat size is 16.5x16.7, front seat height is 20.1", rear seat height is 16.1" I'm still trying to get the backrest adjusted for comfort...It's got a different bracket on it than my old Jetstream Pro does and therefore it's got a lot less height adjustment room...ARRRGGGHHHH...I've gotta call them on monday about it b/c I need my backrest higher than I can adjust it with this bracket...Didn't know 'till I was in my chair for a few hrs and then my back started hurting b/c the support wasn't in the right spot...go figure...Well, they've been good overall....They're fixing a mistake that one of the guys made when it came in, which prevented me from picking it up a week earlier...but I'm happy with my chair and am THRILLED to have it...I can't wait to go dancing in it!!! I FINALLY, for the first time EVER have a chair that is measured FOR me, ordered FOR me and actually FITS me in ALL areas!!! it's only taken 3 years....but now I have it and it should last me a good LONG time....YEAH!!!!

Oh man, it looks good!!! I love it actually. I've been wanting to get into a Kuschall to check it out, but I swear it seems I never have time. Now I have new motivation to get on that again.

That anti-tipper doesn't make you nervous at all? It looks like it might make me a little cautious until I got used to it. (Then again, I'm such a chicken.)

Oh, btw, those colors are KU colors too.

You GOTTA do it Carrie!!! You'll LOVE IT! The anti-tipper is GREAT!!!!! I've been doing 360's on it non-stop...LOL....it's solid as can be no need to be worried about it I actually took out the little bolt that was going thru the axle to hold it in place and raised the height b/c I didn't like how low it started out....you know me, I gotta be able to tip WAYYYYYYY back....But it's ALL set to go out dancing....can't wait to get back up to Leesburg and go to Jesse Black's again with all the hotties

So KU and Budweiser share colors huh? You can be in team colors ALL the time.... I won't even harass ya THAT much if ya wanna copy my color scheme....

That's a great lookin ride Chelle. Looking at all the pics makes me want to get a new chair. But there is nothing wrong with the chair I'm in now. Hope you get the back situation fixed soon, and go out and enjoy it.

ROFL, your life just got way more comfortable. It's very nice to have your feet rest your footrest. My feet swelled up thinking about it. So THAT's what the casters look like when they aren't totally gobbed up with pet/Beth hair. I'd forgotten. Mine are disgusting.

Nice ride, you Nascar dork.

Mine would have to be silver & blue....ya know, since I am an Ichabod instead of a Jayhawk. But the colors looks good on yours, I won't steal.

How long did it take you to get it after you got measured and ordered it?

Now I want a cool new chair. Right now I would just settle to get a new back for mine. Chelle, did you go through a vendor and get measured and he ordered it or did you get measured and you ordered it?

Blue, white, and silver and I could have my Dallas Cowboys chair! Be awhile before I get into a new chair unless I buy it myself which I just might do if the Quickie doesn't get anymore comfortable. I'll get back into rehab and talk to my PT/OT about it when doc gives me the ok.
