Neuro visit coming up
Hi all,
Dan has his first appointment with a neurologist next week since inpatient last year. What are some questions we should ask? Any input, as always, is greatly appreciated. ![]() Cathy |

I am going to move this over the the Care forum. You will get more input there.

Cathy, I'm sorry - maybe some more input? 'First visit since inpatient'? What level is he? Is he seeing a neurologist or a physiatrist? Pain issues? Rehab/exercise issues? Medication issues? Seating? Home equipment?

Thanks, Marm,
Dan is now C5..he is being followed by a physiatrist, who, while inpatient rehab just recently, thought he may have had a syrinx..new MRI,... this neuro-radiologist thought it was not a syrinx. Went to his ortho-surg for follow up, brought new MRI, he thought it could be a syrinx. So he referred us to neuro. I don't know what to think! We just don't know what to ask. Our experience with Neuro, was that they have never felt the need to fully evaluate Dan. For real! I just don't know what to do, where to go. For anything. |
