Aids .........
wHERE did the AIDS epidemic start? In the Black comunity or Gay community. Or, are these misconceptions? Myself, I was thinking it began in impoverished countries, then, spread like wildfire. Your thoughts........? Its been a while since its really been talked about seems like.

I remember learning about the theory about the origin of AIDS is that it developed from contaminated vaccines used in the world's first mass immunisation for polio. Over a million people were immunised with the vaccine in Central Africa between 1957-1960 so the African origin theory makes sense to me. It wasfirst diagnosed in gay men in the 70's.
