Technically thats true hah, they put steriods in my site of injury to reduce swellling of the spine and thats what saved me they said. Cause it was basically strangling my spine and causing more and more damange.

Hmmm... So that's your secret! Ha, wish they would've done that to me. I have a friend that told me he'd give me a good deal on whichever kind I want, he gets them from a pharmacy. I've been doing a bit of researching on it, I hate this gut that I now have due to weak lower abs. Winstrol would fix it lol. Doubt I'll start juicing though, liver wouldn't like me anymore .

Hey, if you can't eat much then a good protein supplement would definately work as I'm sure you've been knowing. I'd go with a protein, amino acid, and BCAA mix. I did that when I was in my bodybuilding phase and it worked like a charm but everyone is definately different. Let us know which you're definately going to go with. Good luck on finding it too, bro.

Thanks Cory! Im an EXSCI (exercise science) major so I better know that kind of stuff! Im glad I could offer some insight.

Wonderderek - I know you said you werent going to juice. But if you decided to I would definitely hold off. Since your lower abs are weak right now, it would be best to strengthen them through assisted situps, etc. without the help of steroids. Anabolic steroids build the skeletal muscle which will get strong very quickly, however the tendons and ligaments dont grow that fast. Your skeletal muscles will be able to handle a heavier load, but your tendons/ligaments wont. That normally results in a tear to the tendon/ligament. It is painful and in probably 9/10 cases surgery is required to fix the tear (by screwing the t/l to the bone). I think the last thing any of us wants is more hospital time and additional rehab

You are right though, everyone is different. A few of the guys I lift with just take branch chains. Figure out what works best for your body, then switch it up after two-ish months. Keep your body guessing.

Oh and you should always do a test only cycle for your first cycle.

-Jeff.

not sure you were asking me the question, but just incase. I am 22 months post injury, L-2 harrington rods. Couldn't move anything from the hips down right after injury. I am now walking with crutches/walker. I don't have muscles from knees down/can't wiggle my toes, but i can walk!!!!!

Do you walk with afo's? if so, what kind? Do you have any pics? My one leg is like your situation. But when i tried to switch to an afo, my foot would turn intward and my knee would start to hurt alot. Perhaps i need more return. i still can't fucntionaly do a leg press/hamstring curel on my left side but I was walking without a big KAFO before on my left side before i hurt my knee. So i'm trying to get back to the AFO so my hamstring/quads will get stronger through just walking.

congrats on the return btw!
