phase 3 hp184

I was wondering what news, if any, there is on phase 3. I missed participating in phase 2 by a couple weeks so I'm just trying to keep up to date.

Also, are there any published results for phase 2? I've heard and read about some positive gains but wondered how prevalent the huge gains were compared to the number of participants who had no changes.

thanks,
Ross

superquad, I have heard that aventis plan to do a 2nd phase 2 trial. I dont think they have published results yet. For what reason I am not sure. My understanding is there were positive results with some paticipants improving function but not a cure.

I was to be considered a subject for phase 3 to begin in February of 2006. I was told it was delayed until November of this year, as the data was being analyzed; numbers were being crunched, etc. etc. My understanding was that some subjects did experience significant gains in both motor and sensation. I am anxiously hoping this trial does move forward.

JW,

Yeah I'm pretty excited to get into phase 3. I've read lots of promising results. I'm pretty incomplete so I'm hoping to benefit

I'm up in NH. Where in Mass where you trying to enroll in the test?

Superquad,
How are you ? do you have any update regarding the HP 184 trial ? is it still planned in November 2006 ? In which country are you going to be followed up if you get the trial yourself ?
thanks for your info.
kind regards. Corinne

Send a message via AIM to filbert2
is enrollment for the phase three clinical trial already complete or are they still accepting applicants? I missed the phase two trial and do not want to miss out on it again.

Who can I contact to get in on the trials?

I was under the impression that the results from phase II were not conclusive to people with SCI to continue into phase III. At least that's what I last heard from my contact at RIC. (Rehab Institute of Chicago)

I heard the same info from a French patient. But as it was still an unconfirmed rumor, I did not post. I am now trying to get a clarification.
