***pain in side***

i'm not sure what's goin on. as some of you know, i got a tattoo a week ago today. it's on my right side on my hipscar.

the pain i have is on my LEFT side, at my kidney. i can't tell if it's muscle return or an infection. it feels like muscle return(i've had it in other areas like my back), but i've been leaking the past few days and the pain won't subside. the pain isn't intense but it won't go away. it's a moderate, dull ache, it isn't what i'd call painful.

the ache is worse when i work out, but it's always there. i've been feeling drained and achey all over since i started leaking.

the reason i mention my tattoo is because i started having bladder spasms but no leaking since i got it along with increased spasms. the spasms are less now, but now i have leaking.

my pee smells and looks fine, so i don't get it.

i'm getting a urine sample this week just to make sure, but what do you guys think!?

If you have flank pain (just under your lower ribs in the back), this is classic for kidney problems. Have someone tap you firmly in that area with a closed fist....if this makes it much worse this is even more likely that you have a kidney infection. Not everyone has cloudy urine with a kidney infection. Your malaise and fatigue also concern me.

Do you have a fever? If so, this is even more definitive. Have you taken your temperature?

Don't sit on this just because it is the weekend. If you have an infection in your kidney, it is destroying kidney tissue. Go to the ER now.

it's not in my back, it's more in the front and it doesn't hurt any more or less when i tap it or if someone else taps it.

i bet it's nothing but i'm going to the doc anyway

The only time I get strange pains like that is that time of the month.
