E.K.G.'s

My E.K.G. shows my heart isn't getting enough blood flow to my heart , I had a Stress test and a catheterzation and both came back normal blood work was normal , but E.K.G. still shows not enough blood flowing to my heart what would the cause of this be and should I be concerned ?

An EKG = electrocardiogram, so I am confused. If your EKG was abnormal how can it also be normal? Isn't your cardiologist recommending a cardiac arteriogram? This would be the next step I would think.

I meant a catheterzation where they go in and check out for any block arteries and that came back normal sorry. What a bruise that left it was 8 inches by 6 inches and took over 8 days to go away ' I think it was from the sand bag.

The sandbag is to prevent a hematoma (big bruise), but we haven't use them for 5 years. There are better compression devices. It is more likely the bruise is from the actual needle stick into the artery.

If you had a normal arteriogram then you probably have nothing to worry about. There are often abnormalities found in EKGs that prove to be nothing. If you have had all those studies and found nothing, I think you can chill.

Due to all my injueries I had the one where they injected a medication where your body gets all warm and it feels like you pee your pants and then they keep you in a hospital room and put a sand bag on my leg to keep me from lifting it up and so I wouldn't move it , it made me nervous at first because they had me do the stress test ,then the next day I was in seeing a cardiologist and the next day they did the catherzation ,all very fast it was 1,2,3. but they said I will always have a bad E.K.G. ,but I think it's something Maybe I should carry in my wallet in case of emergency, that show why it comes back looking like it does along with my other list Meds., illnesses and operations and allergies , and all my Dr.'s names and phone numbers because I went to one hospital and the told me I should always carry a list like that where I also have a seziure disorder too. I might have mistaken that feeling of warmth all over from the following day with the dye injected cat scan thinking back metronyguy I think you are correct ,with me it's hard at times to remember with all the meds I take but I think the warmth feeling was with the dye and not the stress test

I don't know what the proper name was first the nurse had to put a lot of preesure for about 10 minutes until the bleeding stopped then they sent me up to a room and placed a bag all taped up and placed it on my thigh for 8 hours so I wouldn't lift or move my leg it felt like it was about 10 lbs and I just know I had one good bruise and duringing the stress test there was a little pressure in my chest too . The next morning I was awaken from a sound sleep it felt like someone was jumping on my chest and I couldn't breath my daughter called 911 , it felt like I was having a heart attack she later told me I was as white as a ghost and tears were running down my checks they gave me 2 nitro's in the ambulance on the way to the hospital then the pain went away but then my blood pressure dropped to 96/64 and they kept me in the ER for about 5 hours till my blood pressure went back up and they did a dye injected cat scan to make sure of no blood clots , then I was able to go home and spen a little time with my family on christmas eve .
