I started 4-AP today...
I'm 21 months post and am finally giving it a go...
I'll keep everyone posted about my particular results and experiences with it. |

4 days of 15mg per day so far. I've noticed less spasms during the night and firm, longer lasting erections (my wife noticed that). No noticable motor improvements yet.

I'm up to 30mg per day. Energy level does seem to be up. No serious side effects.
If anyone has ever taken "Xenadrine" or "Ripped Fuel" this feels very similar. I experience an inreased heart rate at times and sometimes get a bit jittery. No more Viagra. More "paperwork at the office" (restroom activity). More stamina during workouts and physical activities. No changes in motor functions like my left hand which was something I had hoped for... |

Question~
Are you part of a 4AP study or did your doc just prescribe? Thanks! |

gvinton,
I was in a clinical trial for the sustained release formulation of 4-AP (Fampridine by Accorda). I do not believe that it has gained FDA approval yet. Are you sure it is a sustained release or is timed release something separate? Also, where is the Bellevue pharmacy located and can you provide contact information? Thanks. |

This is not Accorda's sustained release version. This is a from a compound pharmacy. I think a number of people that visit Carecure have had it shipped from this pharmacy, I got the details here myself.
Pete Hueseman seemed very friendly and helpful. I explained what I what looking for and had it shipped to California. There is an immediate release and a timed release version. Pete Hueseman, R. Ph., P.D. BELLEVUE PHARMACY SOLUTIONS 1-800-728-0288 or 314-727-8787. |

I've been on it for a couple months and as a C-7 I noticed better breathing and coughing right away and my fingers started getting stronger. Since then, no change except they give me heart burn and twice I took 2 10 mg doses close together and I experienced horrible pain in my back and rib cage
and my legs burned and tingled about 5x as much as normal. I ended up in the hospital for the 1st one so I'm almost ready to give it up because even one increases my back and ribcage pain.WR |
